Native American Heritage Day Camp

This 3-day camp is for ages 7 to 15. Attendees will explore the history and culture of Native Americans living in northwest Wisconsin during the 1800’s to the present day, with a focus on the traditional lifestyle. Some of the activities campers will take part in include traditional games, foods, cooking over a fire, drumming, dancing, and crafts.
Camps are from 9 AM to 4 PM. Cost is $85 ($75 for children or grandchildren of members of the Barron County Historical Society). There are a limited number of scholarships available to campers who could not otherwise afford to attend. All camps will include games, crafts, outdoor cooking, and other activities of the time period and culture of the camp they are attending.
