Every year, hanging Petunia baskets make their appearance on Memorial Weekend and observe Main Street activities throughout October (weather permitting.) Baskets highlight Main Street from the bridge to Evans Street, along Veterans Lakeshore Drive, and the side street parking lots.
Through collaborative efforts, the Rice Lake Main Street Association and Rice Lake Lions Club water the Petunia baskets daily.
