The Rice Lake Chamber is spotlighting the Rice Lake Aquafest for the month of June.
The 61st Annual Rice Lake Aquafest is set to make a splash from May 30 to June 8, 2025, bringing ten days of vibrant community celebration to northwest Wisconsin. This beloved festival offers a diverse lineup of activities for all ages, including a bustling food court with live music, Chamber Family Night, Family Fun Days, a thrilling carnival, a kiddie parade, a fishing derby, and the ever-popular Readapalooza. This year’s parade theme, “Sail into Rice Lake,” invites attendees to embrace the nautical spirit and enjoy the festive atmosphere.
Music enthusiasts can look forward to performances by renowned artists such as Chris Kroeze, Joe Nichols, Quiet Riot, and Great White, ensuring unforgettable evenings of entertainment. While the anticipated Art in the Park event has been canceled for this year, the festival continues to offer a rich array of activities that highlight the community’s spirit and creativity. With its blend of music, food, and family-friendly events, the 2025 Rice Lake Aquafest promises to be a memorable experience for all attendees.
Adding to the excitement is the Royal Credit Union Aquabug Medallion Contest, a cherished tradition that engages the community in a thrilling treasure hunt. Participants follow daily clues to locate the hidden medallion within the Rice Lake area. The first to find it and return it within 12 hours, while wearing an official Aquafest button, wins a $1,000 prize. Clues are posted at 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. daily at the Royal Credit Union Rice Lake office and announced on local radio stations WJMC, WAQE, and WKFX. This engaging contest adds an element of adventure to the festival, fostering community spirit and participation.
