The Rice Lake Chamber October Member of the Month is TrailHead Adventure Rice Lake located at 315 W. Knapp Street, Rice Lake.Owners, Dana & Jennifer Heller got the idea to start Trailhead Adventure during a weekend anniversary stay at a hotel in Siren. Dana’s cousin suggested checking out the side-by-side rentals in Danbury, where they had a nice chat with the owner. With much discussion after returning home, they decided it was a great idea by that following Tuesday. Dana and Jennifer, along with their son Hunter and his girlfriend Emily Kay worked with a lot of people for small business development and with the help of the Amish, started building their new location. The contacted Polaris Outfitters and were able to get the side-by-sides for rentals. They opened on May 1, 2021 and chose the name Trailhead Adventure because the business is located at the trailhead of the longest off-road trail in the state and because each person wants their own “adventure”. They have fourteen machines (2 Razers, 4 Generals, and 6 that are fully enclosed, heat, air-conditioned and electric windows). They are great for couples and families because you can have fun in all kinds of weather. They are also FANTASTIC for corporate teambuilding outings!!Trailhead Adventure was just awarded the “Certified Outfitter” designation, which is only awarded to select Polaris Adventures partners. Polaris also judged that they have the “cleanest and most well-maintained” fleet. And, just recently, Polaris delivered three brand new machines with built in maps and stereos. If you want to take a ride on the trails or see the changing colors of the leaves, check out their website www.trailheadadventure.com/.Congratulations and we are thrilled to have Trailhead Adventure as a Chamber member! ...
