Dort’s Compassion Closet is a free clothing closet that is available to everyone in our community. We also provide shoes, winter items, children’s clothing, personal care products, and some household goods. The Closet was founded in 2013 by Dort Nelson as a way to give back to our community with basic necessities for everyone. We rely solely on volunteers to help run the closet and we are a federally recognized 501(C)3 non-profit organization.
