The Hungry Hollow Steam and Gas Engine club was formed in 1969 by some people who had like interests in antique machinery and working with it. The first shows were north of Rice Lake on the Prock Farm and after a number of years moved the the Barron Co Fair grounds. In 2004 the club purchased 40 acres west of Rice Lake and in 2009 held their first show there which was their 40th anniversary. The club has built many buildings on the grounds for sawmilling, blacksmithing and displays over the years along with moving a small barn and the Wiesner Church onto the grounds as well. Our show is always held the last full weekend of June and we have between 3000-4000 people attend each year.
